“In the previous illustration i saw a magical transformation of the tree-hand in front of a Bavarian flag. That leaded me to the fairytales by the German brothers Grimm and Lycantropy/Shapeshifting. The most known example of Lycanthopy are werewolves. In these stories the hunter always becomes the hunted. I tried to capture the dark and light side of folkore stories with layering, and overlapping colours.”
